SWITCH is excited to welcome back Student Info Sessions this September!
Student Info Sessions take place immediately following Saturday SWITCH shifts (4:00-5:00 pm) and provide educational opportunities for volunteers to learn more about the social determinants of health and the work of other community-based organizations in Saskatoon. Sessions feature knowledgeable guest speakers and are facilitated by various groups. Past Student Info Sessions include: Saskatoon Open Door Society presenting on immigrant health and cultural bridging, Sexual Health Centre Saskatoon speaking about services and common sexual health issues faced by vulnerable populations, and the Alvin Buckwold Child Development Program discussing their programs and referral process.
